Ingredients
- 1 cup white rice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 12 oz. evaporated milk (1 can)
- 1.5 cups milk or almond milk
- 2x 1L water
Directions
- add 1L water, rice, cinnamon, and almonds to a bowl or casserole dish
- soak in refrigerator overnight
- strain water out into sink
- blend rice, cinnamon, and almonds dry
- add evaporated milk and blend further
- strain liquid into pitcher
- add sugar, vanilla, and milk
- stir until well mixed
- add 1L water
- refrigerate until served
