Ingredients
- taro
- pinch of baking soda
- two tea bags
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- condensed milk (optional)
Directions
- peel taro and cut into 1 inch cubes
- boil water and add a pinch of baking soda
- simmer taro until soft (10 to 20 min.)
- steep two tea bags in small amount of water
- blend four taro cubes, 3/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup ice cubes, tea
- sweeten or add condensed milk to taste
- serve over ice with boba pearls
- leftover cooked taro cubes can be frozen
