Lo Mein

Ingredients

sauce:

  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

stir fry:

  • 6 oz. ramen noodles
    • three packets of instant ramen noodles
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 diced carrots
  • 2 minced cloves garlic
  • 3 chopped green onions
  • 3 cups chopped vegetables
    • carrots
    • broccoli
    • onion
  • 1 diced tofu block
  • corn meal
  • 2 tbsp. mirin or rice vinegar

Directions

  1. shake sauce ingredients together in mason jar
  2. prepare and drain noodles
  3. warm skillet with sesame oil on high heat
  4. fry tofu for 5 min.
  5. add vegetables, fry for 5 more min.
  6. pour mirin over skillet
  7. add cooked noodles and sauce (to taste), combine
  8. fry for 2 min.
  9. serve with fresh green onions
